I didn’t have a favorite pen & ink this week. I just didn’t do much writing. My Vanishing Point with the XXXF nib was the most used but that was simply because it was the most appropriate for the limited amount of writing that I did (notes, lists, etc…)
I haven’t forgotten about the giveaway. I have all the entries and I plan to get them together and pick a winner (via random.org) later today.
Some links of interest…
First Look: Nock Co. Sinclair — nib & ink // Mine was supposed to arrive Friday, but it’s still in transit. Sounds like it will be worth the wait.
Black n’ Red Notebooks – The Pen Haul // I like the spiral bound versions of this brand. I’ve always bought them in a store because I did find the paper varied a bit.
Pen Review: Pilot Metropolitan Retro Pop (and Giveaway) – The Well-Appointed Desk // The giveaway is over, but still worth visiting for the review.
Just for Ian: A review of the Conklin Stylograph mosaic fountain pen – A fool with a pen // I’m not a fan of the relaunched Conklin brand, but I do like the look of this pen.
Pen Review: Aurora Optima Auroloide | The Pen Habit // Blue & gold aren’t favorite colors of mine, but this pen does stand out.
Discussing the Lamy 2000: Quality Control – Goulet Pens Blog // Good, informative video. My own Lamy 2000 (purchased on Amazon, not Goulet Pens) did need smoothing but it does have a very small sweet spot and I do rotate off that spot a lot. I still love the pen. It causes me to slow down, which is not a bad thing.
The opposite of flex – Vintage Pen News // Sounds perfect
Note taking – launching version 2 | KurleyMcD
Review: OMAS Arte Italiana Arco Celluloid Paragon @PenChalet – Gourmet Pens // I love the celluloid, the rest of the pen – not so much.
I always like seeing what other people are using and the beginning of the month has more than my own currently inked post.
Monthly Load Out: December 2015 — Gorgeous.Ink // I like the choice of pens. I was inspired to ink up my own F-C Model 20 M. Stub when a slot opened up
Currently Inked! ~ Inkdependence! // Wow! Even though the current 6 or 7 is low for meI thought 12 – 15 pens was my higher limit and a lot. You’ll have to visit for the total number. All I can think of is “that’s a lot of cleaning.” Thanks for the mention Michael.
