This week’s favorite fountain pen and ink combination was a slam dunk selection. I’ve never mentioned this pen before because I didn’t have it until Monday afternoon. I inked it up Monday evening and I wrote it dry as Wednesday ended (literally ran dry on the last word of the day before I was heading off to bed). I inked it up first thing Thursday morning and continued using it. I look for reasons to use this pen. I took detailed notes on a conference call just for the hell of it. In the evening I don’t need a reason, I just write. The fountain pen is the Visconti Homo Sapien Bronze Age with an extra fine nib and Pelikan Blue-Black ink to tame that wet nib. I’ll eventually write about it, once I can break away from using it long enough to type for an extended period of time.
This will be the last Sunday links post of the year, at least with the traditional current links. There’s only two Sundays left in the year and I’m considering a couple less time-consuming options as a replacements, but since they aren’t done I make no promises. Don’t be surprised if I’m silent the next couple of Sundays. Hopefully I can use the time to catch up on some posts that are in various stages of creation. If your looking for something to read, check out my Resources page for a list of informative and interesting websites. If you have a pen, pencil or stationery related blog and it isn’t listed let me know, either in the comments or the contact page.
